Founded by Atul Babras after a four-decade career in elevators and escalators, SAMB brings manufacturer-side insight to the client’s side of the table. We understand how systems are designed, sold, installed, maintained and modernised—and where risk can hide between a proposal and real-world performance.
Our role is to clarify choices without commercial bias. We establish the right brief, test assumptions, compare like with like and provide a documented basis for decisions that must perform over decades.

Principal Consultant, SAMB Consultants
Atul entered the elevator industry in 1982 and built his career across installation, commissioning, service, maintenance, modernisation and commercial leadership. Twenty-eight years with Otis Elevator Company provided direct experience of the systems, processes and decisions that shape performance in the field.
Today, that knowledge is applied entirely in the client’s interest. Atul leads every SAMB engagement with a hands-on, plain-speaking approach and remains personally accountable for the quality of the advice.
